Do counties charge sales tax on 911 signs? Who actually charges for them?
@5ff4925a7f0e6 -Sibley County purchases signs using its sales-tax exemption. When signs are sold directly to the public, the County collects sales tax by backing it out of the flat fee and remits it to the State. When the County permanently installs the signs, sales tax is not charged to the customer.
